We sent a load of 38 calves from our place today av 489kg with 13 over 500kg. We had already sent the 9 heaviest all over 500kg last week to top up a load from Dads.
So far 25 calves over 500kg from all farms (10%). Avg daily gain in the last week 1.6kg for the mob – not too bad since we don’t have much green grass for them.
